It’s here people! September, officially Naughty Miss Jones Go Exploring Month has arrived to rock those sheets and blow your minds.

Each Friday in September I will be posting an activity or process that we encourage all couples looking to put the sizzle back in their sex lives to try. And if I don’t have you groaning with pleasure and screaming my name in thanks by September 30, well, you just haven’t been trying hard enough….

The word communication may not sound sexy per se, but the communications of wants, needs and desires is key to good lovin’ and a healthy appetite for exploration.

Here is the steps to this weeks exercise

  1. Below, on the right, I have listed a number of erogenous zones (the bits that feel good), on the left I have listed a number of methods of pleasuring.
  2. Your mission this week lovers (should you choose to accept it), is to each select three zones from column one (try and go for zones that may have been neglected in the past, or you’re curios to try) and match them with a method of pleasuring listed on the right. Just like a tick a box quiz, made sexy.
  3. Once you have done that, you need to communicate it to your lover, and they vice versa. Hell, you can print off this entry and use a highlighter if need be, as long as you get the message across.
  4. And then, now here is the fun bit, you both have to select one of the other parties chooses, and stimulate in the way they have chosen for a full ten minutes.
  5. Yep, that’s it. Funnest homework you have had in ages, no?

  • Nape of neck (where the shoulder meets the neck, to the side)
  • Massaged, using oil
  • Earlobe
  • Tickled, using appropriate apparatus (i.e feather)
  • Nipple
  • Licked, no props
  • Perineum (in females located between the vagina and anus and in males between the scrotum and anus)
  • Licked, using ice or champagne as a prop
  • Scalp and hair
  • Lightly scratched / tugged (great if your partner has long nails)
  • Belly button
  • Kissed/ sucked

Isiah Says

As y’all know, I’ve been working with and learning a lot from professional sex and relationship coach, Isiah McKimmie ( In relation to the issue of communication, she comments:

Improving our sex life makes us happier, healthier and more confident. If I could only give 1 tip on how to improve your sex life, it would be communication. Communication is the foundation of all good relationships, including sexual ones. The passion in your love making is often a barometer of the communication, trust and connection in your relationship.”
